Garbage and Recycling

Town of Arcadia residents are allowed to drop off garbage in the Town of Arcadia dumpster located at the Arcadia Recycling Center at 1420 East Wanek Avenue in the City of Arcadia.  All garbage must be in bags.  No recyclables may be placed with garbage.

Recyclables are also dropped off at the Arcadia Recycling Center.  To request a pamphlet which explains the recycling guidelines, send your name and address in an email to the Town Clerk.

Cleanup Days

The Town of Arcadia holds a Spring Cleanup Day and a Fall Cleanup Day each year to allow town residents and property owners to dispose of items not normally allowed in the garbage or recyclables.  Items such as appliances, furniture, computer components, scrap iron, etc. are collected for a fee.

Burning Permits

The Town of Arcadia does issue DNR Burning Permits to allow residents and property owners to legally burn clean wood, paper and vegetation.  Burning permits are not valid during burning bans.  To obtain a burning permit, contact the Town Chairman or Town of Arcadia Clerk.
